Our Founder Story
Curated, with intention.
I’m Marisa, the founder of Curated Attitude.
My connection to leather began long before this brand. I grew up in a family rooted in the fabric and leather business, where I was taught—early on—the difference genuine materials make. Leather wasn’t just a luxury; it was a way of life. I was raised to appreciate its durability, its texture, and the way it ages with grace.
Growing up, I had the privilege of living in many places—Canada, the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and finally, Thailand. Each country had its own way of expressing fashion and function. I observed how people carried themselves, quite literally—their bags, their essentials, the small choices that spoke volumes. And through it all, I developed an eye for quiet design—pieces that don’t scream for attention, but still make an impression.
For years, I worked in the corporate world. On paper, it looked stable. But inside, I felt stuck—creatively, emotionally, personally. I was tired of the meetings, the structure, the sense that I was building something for someone else. I missed the feeling of creating with purpose.
That’s when I began asking myself:
What if I could build something of my own—something that reflected what I truly cared about?
Curated Attitude was born from that question. From the belief that genuine leather doesn’t have to come with a big price tag—or a big logo. That beautiful things can be made accessible. That design can be quiet, thoughtful, and still powerful.
This brand is a reflection of everything I missed during those long office days: freedom, creativity, and connection. It’s for people who want fewer, better things. It’s for those who carry confidence quietly.
