- Avoid scratching or rubbing the suede against rough or abrasive surfaces, as this may damage its soft texture
- Keep the belt away from moisture, humidity, and direct sunlight. Suede is especially sensitive to water and may stain or warp
- Never expose the belt to heat sources such as radiators, hair dryers, or hot car interiors
- Avoid contact with oily substances, makeup, perfume, or alcohol-based products. These can permanently mark suede
- If the suede becomes lightly soiled, gently brush with a soft suede brush in one direction. If wet, blot with a light-colored, absorbent cloth—never rub or use soap
